Up until the last bit, which was basically a chain letter request, I was going to link this. My knee jerk response is to not now that it was demanded of me.
I probably still will, but I'm pissy about it. I also don't like that on at least 1 issue I caught they didn't back up the claim with actual primary evidence. Though the fact that they usually did was good.

(As you could probably tell)
I keep meaning to do more. Not sure if just spreading the information is enough.

One thing I've done, and continue to do, is when I meet a hardcore McCainiac is ask for ten reasons why I should vote for him. I clarify my question by stating that I want to hear about what McCain does and can do, not what is perceived of as "bad" about Obama.
The most I've gotten is four reasons. Four. None of the four, which mostly have to do with what Supreme Court Justices he'll appoint and his military/defense views, are compelling to me, by the way.
So, arm yourself with the views and promises of the candidate of your choice, and ask a McCain advocate to name ten, good, compelling reasons why you should vote for McCain. At the very least, the person you ask will have to think somewhat rationally about it rather than slinging media hype back at you. | |
